The National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) organizes an annual conference that draws a large audience of professionals and scholars. As the event grew in popularity, there was the need to streamline operations through a comprehensive digital solution.

The goal was to create a platform to support the conference through every stage.
𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
As the project manager, I led a four-member team through the development and QA of the website and mobile applications. The web component collects and manages applications for speaker roles, provides detailed information about the conference, and allows ticket sales.
Ticket options include special prices for early birds and students, which users can purchase multiple at once or buy on behalf of others. The platform then generates the tickets and sends them to users via the app and email.
The mobile applications are fully integrated with the web platform, providing users easy access to conference details and hosting their entry tickets. The apps featured a live question moderation tool, enabling users to submit and upvote questions for speakers, enhancing audience engagement. Additionally, event staff can validate tickets through the app to simplify entry procedures.

The digital platform successfully backed the annual conference, improving event organization and overall experience and strengthening INEGI’s reputation for hosting high-quality events.
