This e-commerce stands out through its design-centric yet user-friendly shopping experience.

Belle Époque, a fast fashion brand, had established its presence through in-store sales and social media live events but lacked an online store. As the brand grew, it became clear that a dedicated e-commerce platform was essential to reach a broader audience and facilitate sales.

The primary goal was to create a design-centric yet user-friendly platform that provided a straightforward shopping experience.

As a project manager, I led a three-member team designing, developing, and testing the online store. Development focused on performance optimization, layout stability, and a secure checkout process with numerous payment options.

The design-centric interface includes a dynamic column grid banner with up to three images with or without text on the homepage, user-customizable product catalog views to display two or four products per line, and dynamic product thumbnails that change images on hover. On mobile devices, vertical scrolling pushes users to view all product images before checking details like price or description.

The platform includes auto-saving scroll positions, wishlist functionality, newsletter integration, and conveniently displaying users' last viewed products.

It also uses post-purchase and abandoned cart automated email workflows and advanced promotional tools with direct discounts, discount codes, and combo deals such as 2-for-1 offers.

The launch of the online store marked a significant milestone for the brand, expanding its reach beyond physical locations and social media. The store successfully provided a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience, positioning the brand for continued growth online.
